I grew up in upstate NY, have lived in Texas, and now currently live in Florida. As my resume shows, I went to the University of Texas at Austin for a few years, studying computer science. Realizing that I'd rather be making art than programming, I transferred to The Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale, Florida, where I received my BS in Media Arts and Animation. I specialized in Rigging/Modeling, which of course helped me get my first freelancing jobs. I owe many thanks to Caleb Owens and Ian Eisenberg for teaching me the program I love - Maya.

Well, I rig. I also animate, model, draw, and sculpt! I'm working on developing my texturing skills, but as there are so many aspects of 3D, it's hard to conquer them all. But wait, thats not all I do. I'm a GAMER! I love gaming, and in fact, I'm aiming to get a job in the gaming industry....unless the film industry wants to keep me on longer. Place your bids now! No really... I'm a hardcore gamer. FPS mostly, but I do like a good RPG or RTS. I'm currently hooked on Planetside, Sony's MMORPG. I was in the beta, and after it hit stores, I decided I had to get in on it. It should suffice until Half-Life 2 or Call of Duty comes out. I do miss owning people in Counterstrike, but I feel that game hit the pits as it entered version 1.3. Although, I wouldnt mind playin it on a LAN right about now....

You can check out the latest production that I worked on if you live in the UK. Fightbox airs on the BBC3 in October. Hopefully I'll get some recorded footage of it, since I'm over in the states. I was responsible for all the rigging. I've also rigged several characters for the same company for some game box art. I was also lucky enough to help a friend out with a rig for a Roger Corman production. You can check out the croc rig in the 3D section; more images of it to come. Also, just recently I've completed a Maya 5 review with my good friend, Xen Wildman. It can be found on cgchannel.com.

Game Industry, Film Industry, Advertising.... wherever my services are needed :) I would like to end up as a TD, head setup Artist, Puppeteer (I like that title the best actually...) in time. I know I just need more experience getting there. Eventually I'd like to write a book on Rigging as well. I love the technical aspect of 3D, and I know there's a lack of books that focus on this. Eventually, I'd love to end up back in Texas - but we need more production companies there!
